20 years ago: it was 1988. the year i was baptized. we were living in Roy, and i loved that house. i am not sure what grade you are in when you are 8, but i am guessing that i was in 3rd grade. my teacher was in
MOTAB, and i loved here...i also remember watching conference just to see if the
tv would show her. bonnie and
kristie spent a lot of time at out house... i am sure that
spencer was barely born... which means that
david caught our back yard on fire, it was crazy he wanted to call grandma, but i said we should call 911. dad was at work, and mom was shopping with
lis and
amy. i laugh now, but i remember being so scared. dad worked at
maverik and i remember singing with the guitar. i also remember the cherry tree and the apple tree in our back yard... so many good memories from that house. (i also remember aunt
kris coming over in the summer to lay out with my mom... maybe that is where i get my love for tanning... i always wanted to be like them)
10 years ago: 1998. i was about to graduate from high school with
andy and bonnie we were 17, man we were so young. i had been living in
idaho falls for just over 3 years, and i was still thinking that we would move. i was planning a trip to great b
ritain and am sure that i was a handful. i was working at a place called
transitions where i worked with handicapped children. i still get to see some of those kids, it is crazy how much of an impact they have on your life. i was excited to be done with high school, and i was not even thinking about college. i read a lot, and i moved out of my parents house this year. it was crazy, i lived with the
manwills, they are so good to our family... they have been a huge blessing in our lives.
5 years ago: 2003. i was 23 and just about to come home from my mission. wow! i cannot believe it has been that long. i loved Australia, and serving the Lord. i learned so much about myself while i was gone, my testimony grew in ways that i never imagined possible. that time in the Lord's service was so amazing...what a blessing. coming home was a crazy experience.... i got a job before i even came home, and started only 2 days after i got back into the states. i worked for The Learning Center and loved do much about it. it was nice to feel like i was still helping people,
even though they were so little!
3 years ago:2005. i was 25. i decided that i could not go to school in poky and live in
idaho falls, there was no way i was commuting... so i asked a friend where i should live, and by may 4 of us had an apartment. heather,
chantal,
mickaela, and myself. little did we know that we would live with a girl who had stayed there all summer and did not clean once in about 2+ months i am sure... YUCK! oh she sicked me out. she was my "room" roommate, and very dirty. her cat, lets just say it got lost one day... we kicked it out of the house a lot. the tub... it took me about 9+ times over with
CLR (my hero in that house) to get it bath-able. i was excited to move, new place, new friends, new experiences....probably one of the best things i have done since my mission... i met the greatest people. i wish that i would have taken pictures that year... so many fun stories, margarita (virgin of course) parties, and out quote board. the stairs, the sauna, the neighbors (not their dog)... i could go on and on... it was great!
last year: 2007. a good year. i finished my junior year of college in the
pre- speech and language pathology program. i decided to stay the summer in
pocatello. i worked the graveyard shift at the post office, and enjoyed it very much! it was hard hours, and boring work, but there was always someone to talk to, and it was a great experience. i also have to say that my 27
th birthday was a very memorable one.... my longest roommate decided to surprise me and took me to an Air Supply concert in
wendover! i am not good with not knowing what i am going to do, and it was really hard for my friend to keep this secret! she knew how excited i would be.... it was a great year!
yesterday: march 9, 2008. Sunday. it was daylight savings...and it was a good sabbath. church was amazing. the girl who spoke talked about hope, and i think that her talk was written just for me. i pondered a lot about this past weekend,
friday i went to a food and forum, basically lunch with a short fireside...and i heard this quote "Life is what you do when you are planning something else" it really hit me, and it was perfect to think about as we went to the temple on
saturday to do baptisms with our ward... it was amazing. also yesterday all we could talk about was a movie we just watched (sat night) "North and South" it is four hours long... and it was pretty much amazing! (: so
yesterday just turned into 'this weekend' but i think that it is okay!
today:
monday 3/10/08. it is my old
roomie jordan's 1 year
anniv! wow! she is expecting a baby any day! a cute little girl...it is so exciting. well, my day started too early, and it was off to have my teeth cleaned at 8am. then i had class at 11:30, 1:00, and i have class again at 4:00p. i think that
toinght FHE will be fun, and then i have to study for a midterm that i have in the morning. yeah (:
tomorrow: 3/11/08. i have a midterm and clinic... but we are going to Monte Carlo so it should end well!
this month: march 2008. i will be going to Colorado for spring break! i will be one month away from graduation! my sister will have a birthday, and i will be almost done with my bachelors!
this year: 2008. it will be a good year. there are so many things to look forward to. in a nutshell, i will graduate on may 10 with my bachelors! i will be going to
washington soon after that! i will find out if i have been accepted into grad school here at
ISU...i will be planning the next couple years of my life (depending on school), SPENCER IS COMING HOME FROM ARGENTINA! things are just going to be great! and i will turn 28.... i think i might be getting old.

well, this is what does it for me! go for the DP!!! it is how i make it! YUM! (: i cannot believe that it is wednesday already- so far i have been able to get through the days quickly... but i think today might be long... monday was good, i had a neuroanatomy exam (you know... all about the anatomy of the brain) and FHE which turned out to be really good, we were at bishopricks houses and our lesson was on feeling the spirit (i think) that is what i got out of it anyway, the guy that gave the lesson talked about his mission and how sometimes the people that we teach fall away. we need to teach others to rely on their own tesimonies and not fully rely on others testimonies... we then talked about how to do that, and my thoughts were on those parents in the Book of Mormon who prayed for their children who had fallen away. sometimes they were blessed because of the prayers of their parents. we can always pray for those we have taught or shared the gospel with. we can always pray for our friends and families. it was just another reminder to me about how much loving others, how much our testimony by example helps those we are around... and those we love! well, tuesday was jam packed, i had a clinic assignment to turn in and another clinic assignment to do...can i just tell you how much i am going to love my job when i am done with school?!? i really enjoy clinic... and i love learning about all of the many things that work together to allow us to speak! (: now it is today- as i have procrastinated, i now have 2 papers to write today, a presentation to give (on autism and hearing loss), a talent show to attend, and a pedicure to give to my old roomie who is getting married on saturday! (yeah kayla!!!) so yeah- that is my week so far- and i am depending a lot on my DP! there are only 53 days until graduating and i am not going to lie when i tell you that at our house we chant "53! 53! 53!" 
(or whichever the number is for that day) it is a good thing! in about 30 hours i will be on spring break!! and it cannot come soon enough- i have a lot of plans for the next 11 days!!! yeah! also, while i was looking for my pic of DP ... i came across this and i laughed... (: thought i would share(:
p.s. this weekend was our "womens week". we were able to hear from Sis. Allred first counselor in the general RS. and Elder Hammond our area 70 i think! i will post more about that later... so watch for another post today or tomorrow! (:
