the only way to go!

this really has got to be about the second best thing ever invented. yesterday i had a cavity filled in the dental clinic at ISU and my hygienist decided that it would be really fun to use the nitrous. i had nothing to lose, and i knew that i would be there the entire afternoon so i said why not! of course she said that if i felt sick or started see things that i should let her know....well, i did not let her know. this was way fun...i mean here they are giving me shots to numb me up, and drilling, and all of that jazz, and i am on cloud nine or something...it was really crazy....at one point i had to laugh a lot, so i tried to hold it in, i was breathing funny...you know like when you have all of this stuff in your mouth so you cant really talk, and you are in this room with so many people...i held it in as long as i could, and the assistant said "we've got a giggler" and that did it for me. i laughed so hard that i started snorting. i know that this gives you a great picture in your head. here i am, goggles on, nitrous in my nose, a rubber dam in my mouth (along with dental tools, drool, and all of that fun stuff) and i am laughing hysterically...it was great. my roommate is my hygienist...so we've talked and laughed about it a lot. i guess what i am trying to say, is go for the nitrous...it is the best way to get a filling.... back again...

well, don't i look hot! this is one of the many things that i was able to do during my 3 week break between semesters. my sis lisa is great and she colored my hair for me. i didn't do anything too drastic, just weaved red into it again. most people don't even notice, but i love love love it! so yeah- this is me - no make up and lots of foil! (: anyway, the break was great. i headed down to utah the first day of the break to spend the night at my roomates home so that we could help her mom out with some decorating, we created a village in their entire dining room... it was so much fun, and we were up for most of the night. i think that we finally got some sleep around 5am or so. then i came up to idaho falls to have christmas at my parents house....so much fun!!! i have to tell you, my family is great. we ate so much food, and just spent time together. that first night we drove up to see my nephew... he is getting so big. so christmas was great, and that night i went to my g-parents...i wrote about it all in another post... so after that i went to rexburg for a baby blessing, and then i had the chance to stay with kristie and steve for a few days. it was so relaxing and fun. i was able to work on a 2008 calendar that i made for spencer. it has a bunch of pictures of my family....he is such a great missionary. after staying at the silvesters lisa and nate dropped me off at my home in poky where i was able to stay one night and clean up a bit. then i headed up to rexburg again to stay with my sister lisa for a few days. so much fun. i loved just talking with her, and being able to help her get some things done, and just being there. my nephew had his first doctors appointment and he is now almost 11 pounds and about 22 inches long. he is growing so much. i took so many pictures of him... after my sisters i stayed one night in IF and then i came back to poky. for some reason it is weird to be back, starting my last semester before i graduate. i never thougth that i would get here, but here i am. my classes are hard, but fun. the only one that will really kill me is my english class. but i figure if i frequent the writing lab often, and make sure that i don't procrastinate then i will do okay! well, this is long enough for today- LOVE YOU!

time with grandma-

well...since i have been out of the loop for while i thought that i would try and post at least one thing each day that let you know what i have been up to for the break.... Christmas was great, and i am so blessed to have such a great family. i think that my favorite part was just being together, and having fun! we got to spend some time the 23rd with some of patsy's family and we really had a lot of fun. you would think that living so close that we would see each other a lot. we don't...we need to do that more often. Christmas say i went to utah and spent about 4 days doing nothing but reading, relaxing, and spending time with my grandparents. i slept at my dad's parents house (the Andersons) and then visited with my mom's parents (the Anderson's) on thursday night... i only have one picture of me and one of my Grandma Anderson's (mom's mom) she is great. it was fun to sit at the foot of her chair and just talk to her. you know, it is such a blessing to still have our grandparents in our lives. i have all 4 of mine...they have blessed my life and taught me so much. i remember a few years ago i recorded each of my grandparents while i asked them questions about their lives...wow! it was so fun to learn all about them. well, that is my note for today about what i have been up to! grandparents are great!
