D&C 66:5-8well, as you can see, the closest thing to me was my scriptures. it was good because i got something that i would have not read otherwise today! instead of tagging someone i'm encouraging all to post your fav scripture on my blog! Hey Jenn, My favorite Scripture would have to be 1 Nephi 3:7
"And it came to pass that I Nephi, said unto my father, I will go and do the things which the lord hath commanded, for I know that the lord giveth no commandment unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them to accomplish the things he has commanded them"
I didn't go grab my scriptures for that one so i hope that's right!
Alma 37:36-37
36: Yeah, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all they doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all they thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever.
37: Counsel with the Lord in all they doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou ristest in the morning let thy hear be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.
