swimming!

you know i love this kid! we really had a lot of fun at the pool all day today! too bad we forgot the camera for the majority of the day ): we did get some pics though... lets see what i can get on here: we took a break in the middle for dinner and cake... kayla snuck the rest of matt's (:

this past weekend....

well, this past weekend i just had to get out of town... i stole amy's car and headed to american fork as soon as i could! friday i got to chill with bonnie, then i went to her house before driving down to see jenny. for those of you who dont know jenny is my best friend from colorado... my pen pal all through high school and on my mission, well she is great! i got to her house by about 8 (without getting lost... suprizing to some of you i know) (: anyway, we chatted foever on friday and just got caught up on life really, man i love that girl. saturday she had to go to the temple, so i went to springville to take some stuff to a friends house, then i went shopping at KOHLS. i eventually made it back to jenny's house and decided to go to the temple... WOW! i love the mount timp temple... when i was done i just sat out on the grounds and read my scriptures. the spirit was so strong, and i was so humbled to feel so strongly the spirit just saying that all will be okay! it is great to be reminded of that! jenny was done at the temple by 5 and we decided to just hang out at her house, we dont get to spend that much time together, and it was fun just to watch movies, talk, and be there for each other. it was great! i headed home sunday right after church and hit poky about 8. my roomie chan was still there so i stopped and we went to a friends house for games and a bday party.. it was weird to be back in pocatello, but at one point i forgot that i actually didnt ilve there. chan and i left and then ended up talking until after 1am, i stil had to drive home. i made it to blackfoot before calling chan so she could keep me awake! i am so glad i am blessed with the greatest friends!

moving home...

well i have done it again. i have moved home. it is weird, i did not expect to get to move home after college, but here i am. i must say that i feel sorry for matt.. i have kicked him out of his room, and i hope that he finds some solace in knowing that i will onlyl be here for a few months. i know that i mentioned that i was applying for jobs, and so far i have had one interview. it was for a school district in kansas, and i was only doing it for experience... it ended up being that they called for the "phone" interview and said that the position i was applying for (the one they told me to apply for) did not exist! go figure! i was greatful for the experience and a bit relieved that it was over. i am just about to set up an interview in SLC and am really excited about this one. there are a few people that think i will get the job, but i think that i am just going to go into it knowing that no matter what, i know that the Lord knows what is in store for me! it is a good thing! as for the rest of my life, i am working at The Learning Center again and love it. this week and next i will be subbing for a guy that is on vacation and doing my job, and his job.. it is good because it means that i get more hours. on the 16th i will have my own schedule, and things will be in a routine. by that time i hope to have made a couple of trips to utah, and hopefully have a real job for the fall! it is good. i hope that you all know about spencers blog! i hope that it will work and give you all a chance to see how he is doing, and allow you to get messages to him! it is hard to believe that he has just over 7 months left...WOW! well, i promise to keep you all updated, and hopefully post quicker! hope you are all well!

it's been a few days...

hey! so i have really not been very good at blogging. i think that this is due partly because i have been cleaning my house to get ready to move, and partly because i am not getting on the internet every day! (: really... what do you expect? no it is all good... let me see if i can fill you in a bit. so, i was the only one from my house home for a few days, so my days were spent staying up until 2, 3, or 4 in the morning, getting up at noon and then cleaning my house gradually room by room. so far i have done the laundry room, the garage, the lovey room (for all of you who don't know my house well, the lovey room is the TV room with the lovesacs), i've cleanded under the stairs... and well, the rest has been done little by little, i am not really wanting to move and so i am rebelling from the kitchen and the bathroom... but i will have to do that this week seeing how we have to be out by the first. it looks like i am going to be really busy i think! it will be fun... i am starting my job on the 2nd of june. i am not sure how many of you know, but i have a phone interview for a school in kansas... i will also be setting up an interview in the Jordan School District as soon as i get all of my paperwork done! i am really excied to start a job that is actually somthing to do with my degree...speech pathology! i will keep you all updated.
this weekend i am in boise with my family, staying with dave, echo, shae, and kayla. it is a lot of fun... we went to the park yesterday.. i'll be posting a couple of pics... i will get some more later! hope you are all great!
